Quality as an engineering control system

In memory supply, quality is not an inspection stamp at the end of a process — it is a set of controls applied at every point where a device is received, stored, handled, or shipped. Our quality system is built on four pillars, each documented, audited, and applied to every device that moves through our Hong Kong facility.

Lot traceability, end to end

Every lot that enters our system keeps its identity for life. Manufacturer lot and date codes, country of origin, inbound inspection results, storage location history, and outbound shipment allocation are linked in a single record. If a field question arises three years after delivery, we can tell you which inbound lot fed which shipment — and what every inspection along the way recorded. Traceability records are retained for the duration of your program and beyond, and are available for customer audit on request.

Moisture-sensitive device handling

BGA-packaged memory and storage devices are moisture-sensitive, and mishandling is invisible until reflow. We manage MSD strictly by classification level: sealed moisture-barrier bags with desiccant and humidity indicators, floor-life tracking from the moment a bag is opened, controlled dry-cabinet storage, and documented bake procedures where floor life is exceeded. Long-horizon buffer stock — the heart of our last-time-buy business — is stored sealed in climate-controlled conditions with scheduled re-inspection intervals, so a device drawn down in year six ships in the same condition it arrived.

ESD discipline

Both facilities operate full ESD-protected areas: grounded workstations, wrist-strap and footwear verification at entry, ionization where insulative materials are unavoidable, and shielded packaging for every movement. ESD controls are checked on a defined verification schedule and logged — because a protocol that isn't verified is a hope, not a control.

Testing and firmware verification for storage devices

Storage is the only commodity that ships with software inside. Our test capability reflects that:

  • Electrical and functional testing

    of DRAM modules and storage devices against datasheet parameters

  • Firmware revision verification

    for SSDs, eMMC, and UFS — confirming the delivered firmware matches your qualified revision, not merely a compatible one

  • Controller and die-revision checks

    against the configuration you validated, flagging silent changes before they reach your line

  • Read/write integrity and capacity verification

    on sampled or 100% bases, per program agreement

Test scope is defined per part number in your program documentation, so there is never ambiguity about what "inspected" means.

Certifications and compliance

Our quality management system is certified to internationally recognized standards for quality management and handling of electrostatic-sensitive devices, and our processes are aligned with industry norms for counterfeit avoidance and component authenticity. Substance-regulation conformity documentation — covering European requirements on hazardous substances and chemical registration — accompanies program deliveries as standard. We phrase this carefully because we would rather show you the certificates in an audit than decorate a webpage with logos.
